Komnas HAM Gets New Findings of Irregularities in the National Insight Test for KPK Employees

TEMPO,CO, Jakarta – The National Human Rights Commission or Komnas HAM received new findings regarding the irregularity of the National Insight Test for KPK employees. The new findings are thought to have unique characteristics, which could potentially shed light on the strangeness of the test.

“We were given a statement which we think has the potential to be a character of new findings,” said Komnas HAM Commissioner Choirul Anam at his office, Jakarta, Thursday, May 27, 2021.

Anam said he got new findings after starting an examination of today’s numbers. In addition, Komnas HAM also received new data, in the form of a 546-page document submitted by employees. “Indeed, there is a dynamic in the test that has not appeared in the public so far,” he said.

The attorney for the KPK employee, Asfinawati, said that there was a lot of data and information provided by the employee to Komnas HAM. He said the data could prove that TWK employees were discriminatory and full of engineering. “The results of this test have been determined before it starts,” said the chairman of the Indonesian Legal Aid Foundation.

Previously, 75 KPK employees did not pass the exam organized by the KPK and the State Civil Service Agency. Of the 75, the KPK stated that 51 people would be fired, because they were deemed unable to be fostered anymore. Meanwhile, 24 other people are stated to still be able to switch status to ASN on condition that they follow the spirit of nationalism and defend the country
